Mary Ann Browning Ford
The desire to paint and create has been with Mary Ann since childhood. However, family needs and the pursuit of making a living stepped in to delay the process of following her passion until the last 17 years. Well known for her murals & painted furniture she now offers her paintings and new line of decorative items for home and patio.
She has a special interest in helping disadvantaged children through various fund raising groups such as Orangewood Home for Children, Project Hope, Ronald McDonald House and Roosters Foundation in Orange County, CA & the McAuley Institute in San Francisco, and developed a program of teaching art through story-telling used in various after-school programs since the late 1980’s
Her art education includes Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland, Ohio Corcoran Gallery School of Art, Washington, D.C., DeYoung Museum of Art School, San Francisco, Ken Auster, Laguna Beach, CA and continuous self study.
